1990’s DW-6000 is all about its fancy 1/1000s stopwatch, which you can enter target times, and distance, and it will calculate speed, and record logs, and… not much else, it’s all about the stopwatch, that’s what the six buttons are for. Aside from that, it tells the time and has a single alarm. Looks pretty cool doing it though. This one has been fully restored, and unlike most of these by now, the faceplate hasn’t gone all sticky and glossy. It has a reproduction bezel, as the originals have nearly all crumbled by now, but retains the original strap, although the original keeper loop is long gone. The laughably inadequate incandescent bulb has been upgraded to a warm white LED, which makes a big difference but doesn’t look out of place. It’s far more efficient, but as the cell loses voltage, an unboosted white LED will stop working maybe 3/4 through a lithium cell’s life.
