This homage to the hallowed DB-520, released in 2012, was inferior in many ways, but as a measure of the DB-520’s greatness it’s a sought-after model in its own right. It sacrifices some of the dot matrix for alarm indicators and such, and has dual time instead of world time, but has 13 languages. Each of the five alarms can be set to a particular month and/or date. The timer goes up to 24 hours with a resolution of one minute. After using a mode, the mode button jumps back to the time, which makes a higher-pitched mode beep. The led stays lit for 1.5s, even if the button is held longer.
