A rugged little unit rated to 200m, this Baby-G has a bullbar and a two-part strap with inner nylon webbing secured by velcro, covered by a patterned elastic strap with a snap closure. The nifty display has a counter bar across the top and a dot matrix which displays some info, but mostly animations. In the time mode, the bottom right button swaps between month and weekday. The 1hr timer has three separate timers, with a setting resolution of one minute. The stop watch has an ‘auto-start’ feature which sounds a countdown before beginning. The EL backlight has a hidden picture in it, and stays on for 3s regardless of whether the button is held. Does the high-pitched beep upon returning to the time, but won’t jump straight back after a mode has been used.
