G-Shock GBX-100 +ve mod
This one doesn’t really belong in a vintage digital collection, being basically a low-power smartwatch geared towards fitness and surfing and/or fishing. The only reason it’s here is that I was interested to try a positive mod on a MIP display (linear polarising film can only do negative, while circular can do both), so here it is, in this well-used example. With the MIP screen, it seems as if negative may actually be slightly more legible than positive; another drawback is the moon graphic is now back to front, but someone will no doubt be into this regardless. A zillion functions, pairs with a phone app (radio sync listed as a function, meaning bluetooth to the phone in this instance).
