Casio W-760

This beefy screwback stainless steel classic sports sprung pushers and 100m water resistance. Employing the esteemed 548 module released in 1984, which appears to use the same IC as module 106 from 1980, thus it behaves like older Casios: this module switches through its modes silently, only beeps when the stopwatch is used, and to test the alarm, the bottom right pusher must be held while pressing the bottom left one. Like a few other older Casios from the late 70s / early 80s, there’s a half-hourly signal. The time is continually displayed through every mode, and the 12h timer has a resolution of one minute. The original folding-clasp H-pattern bracelet is in rather good condition, and has only been shortened to 19cm. This example was acquired with an extremely faded LCD, which sadly failed upon polariser replacement, bleeding badly, so another LCD was sourced from a parts donor.
