Casio DB-310 #2
This baby brother of the DB-520 was released in 1988; it lacks a light, but otherwise packs a lot of useful features into a very tidy minimalist package, easily worn by men or women. Curiously never reissued, this one is a favourite. The usual three variants existed, a black one with a plastic strap called the DB-31, with a zero added to the model number for the plated models rocking a metal bracelet, but with the curious departure of omitting the G suffix for the titanium nitride plated model. It doesn’t have the higher-pitched beep upon returning to the time, but does jump straight back to the time after a mode has been used. There are gaps in the dot matrix so no smooth scrolling on this one. The 24h auto-repeat timer has a resolution of one minute.
This example is in excellent condition, with a perfect crystal and only very minor signs of use.
