Casio DBX-100 UNUSED!
The highly flawed but utterly magnificent DBX-100 is one of Casio’s top calculator watches, up there with the CFX-400 and CFS-80. Unlike other metal and glass Casio calculator watches, all of them earlier, this one has a slim folded shape similar to the later resin models. What really sets this one apart is its full dot matrix screen, sadly subject to bleeding, to the extent that it’s very hard to find a good one today. Another terrible flaw of this model was the keypad, all of which have disintegrated into sticky mush by now if they’ve been used. This virtually unused example has only the tiniest amount of screen bleed in a couple of corners, and the keypad has been replaced with the almost identical and far superior one from a DBX-102, purchased as a new old stock spare. Acquired as NOS, this example includes the original manual. In addition to the wide range of features, the memory in this module is preserved across battery changes by changing one of the two cells at a time.
